【適得其所】展《Right Where Lives Belong》Exhibition Merchandise


目前在臺灣，根據農業部最近一次公告的遊蕩犬隻數量為113年的14萬隻(141,584)，遊蕩貓則無正式調查數據。高達十數萬到數十萬的遊蕩犬貓，成為了許多台灣原生種野生動物的生存威脅，其中還包含了多種瀕危物種如石虎、草鴞、穿山甲等。


多數民眾都知道維護自然生態平衡非常重要，但是卻忽略或是從未想過，犬貓不是野生動物，而是人類特意馴化才有的伴侶動物。任由犬貓遊蕩在環境中，除了會對生態造成嚴重負面影響外，其實也完全不符合伴侶動物所應獲得的動物福利。


挺挺清楚不可能藉由一個展覽，立刻讓數十萬的犬貓不再遊蕩，回歸到有人負責照顧牠們五項基本動物福利的理想狀態，同時也才能夠讓生存飽受各種威脅的野生動物少一項來自人類伴侶動物帶給牠們的侵擾傷害… 我們知道舉辦展覽無法讓問題瞬間獲得解決，但是至少能邀請喜歡動物也願意付出關心的朋友們，能先看到問題、理解問題，進而有機會一起去面對與解決問題！
