柴棺龜｜Mauremys mutica｜台灣原生種
不是棺材龜，但柴棺的命名由來至今不明，喜好低海拔的水田，因此又稱「米龜」，水陸兩棲的牠會遷徙到不同水域覓食，故容易遭到路殺。在中國用「石金錢龜」命名炒作下，在台灣曾經全島遍佈的牠，也成了遭到嚴重盜獵的瀕臨絕種保育類動物。
